Are puzzles always solvable without guessing?

Yes. Every puzzle has exactly one solution and can be solved by pure logic — never by guessing. The campaign ramps across five difficulty tiers, from 5×5 (Easy) up to 15×15 (Super Hard / Expert).

How do mastery stars work?

Each level can earn up to 3 mastery stars. A 3-star, flawless solve means no mistakes and no hints used — it’s about a clean solve, not how fast you are. Timed mode is separate and optional.

How do I restore my purchases?

Open Settings → Restore Purchases in the app. This asks Apple to re-confirm your previous non-consumable purchases (e.g. Remove Ads and cosmetic packs) — no account needed. Note: consumable Credits are a spendable balance stored on your device and are not restorable after deleting the app or switching devices.

Are there ads, timers, or lives?

Pixie Grid is free and supported by ads (a banner plus occasional full-screen ads); a one-time Remove Ads purchase removes them anytime. Optional rewarded videos only ever grant a small help (a hint or a revealed cell) — never required. There’s no energy gate and no lives, and the standard board has no timer — an optional timed-challenge mode is available but is off by default. There are no loot boxes and no pay-to-win: every puzzle is fully solvable for free.

What are Credits, and can I get my money back for them?

Credits are an optional in-app currency you can buy to spend on comfort items (extra hints, a reveal-line helper) and cosmetic skins. They’re never needed to finish a level. Credits have no cash value, can’t be cashed out, and are stored only on your device — so they can’t be restored if you delete the app or change devices. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Is my data collected?

Pixie Grid runs no servers of its own and collects no first-party personal data; your progress stays on your device. Because the game is free and ad-supported, our ad provider Google AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data and, with your consent, use them to personalize ads and track you across apps. You control this via the in-app consent and ATT prompts — full details are in our Privacy Policy.

I missed a daily — did I lose my streak?

No punishment. You can solve a missed daily later; streaks are gentle by design.
